Peanut butter and jelly, baseball and summer, flowers and spring, Mother’s Day and night lights …Wait, what? OK so maybe it’s a stretch, but we think there are at least 10 reasons Mom might want a night light this Mother’s Day:
#1 To see the toy on the stairs that she’s about to trip over.
#2 To be ready for a game of flashlight tag at any moment.
#3 To detect motion when her teenager is trying to sneak out.
#4 To detect motion when her husband is trying to sneak to the fridge.
#5 To avoid sharing the bed with a scared-of-the-dark toddler.
#6 To add to her massive collection of seashell themed decor.
#7 To bring back the days of her disco dancing youth.
#8 To guide her to the restroom in a haze of sleep.
#9 To guide her steps to the car after her child tells her at 11:30pm that a project is due tomorrow.
#10 To navigate a stealthy, army-crawl exit from the nursery after the baby finally falls asleep.
Not convinced? That’s okay, we’ve got a few more ideas up our sleeve that can still make you a hero on Mother’s Day.
