‘Tis The Season…

… For incredible holiday lights. Have you seen any captivating displays in your town? My hometown of Clemmons, NC hosts the popular Tanglewood Festival of Lights every year (see a YouTube video here) Here are some displays across the U.S. that will take your breath away:

The Atlanta Botanical Garden features 200 color-changing topiary forms that synchronize with holiday music.

34th Street in Baltimore, Maryland. A tradition that dates back six decades, the elaborate light displays and decorations draw thousands.
Of course, the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree in NY is a holiday staple when it comes to decorative lighting. This year’s tree was 74 feet tall and adorned with 30,000 LED lights on five miles of wire. The star on top is a Swarovski crystal.

In Huntington Beach, California, the holiday lighting spectacle is on the water. This “Cruise of Lights” is a fundraiser for school music programs. The route passes by multimillion-dollar homes with light displays galore.

What’s the best lighting display you’ve seen?
